Press Release Tuesday, August 3, 2010 11:56 PM
I decided to run for office because I felt that the real causes of our economic and political problems were not being revealed and courageously addressed by any of the candidates for US Congress that I had ever voted for.
Yes that is an awkward sentence. It is an equally awkward reality. I stand by my campaign as presented. I will continue to pursue a more public understanding of these important facts.
My campaign for 2010 is completed.
Given tomorrow's choice between Edward Martin and John Russell Carnahan I do not hesitate in supporting Russ Carnahan 100%. I will approach Russ Carnahan's campaign Wednesday to offer my sincere support.

on the Democratic ticket for convenience. I feel that the Democratic and Republican parties have lost their individuality and centers. I had to pick a party ticket on which to run. I personally would like to see the restoration of the old Republican and Democratic parties.

Congress is responsible for more, but if you like the fact that I am willing to bring up what you see, tell everyone you know or see about this campaign. I'll work to address all of this through education and legislation.
Heart
"Join or die" understands that we do best when we work together. United we Stand. Unified democrats, republicans, conservatives and liberals, libertarians, etc. Our original Constitution was a master piece.
We have been tricked and conned into weakening and ignoring our constitutional republic. Like dentists say about teeth "If you ignore them they will go away," so too our rights.
First, the Bill of Rights. We need that to apply to all levels of government. Our founders expected State constitutions to protect those same rights. They don't, so we need an Amendment to guarantee those rights all the way to the sovereign people.
States' Rights. The people were represented by the House of Representatives, the Senate was elected by State legislatures to represent the interests of the States. That was undermined with the 17th Amendment. Get our States' Rights back. Repeal 17.
Dissolve the 1871 municipal corporation and all its subverting subsidiaries, reestablish our Constitution. That municipal corporation aka "UNITED STATES" created subsidiary corporations aka "citizens" to improperly saddle with the national debt. In a ballet of moves the buck doesn't stop at the federal government any more, it now stops with each individual citizen.
Money as Value instead of Money as Debt is our way out of the crash of our pyramid scheme economy. Yes it saves the bankers too, but to win acceptance it has to serve everyone.
A strong compassion for everyone protects each persons' liberty, and our community.

Restoration of our Constitution Requires Awareness
I have learned some very disturbing things since I began the process leading to this campaign. Our Constitution has been subverted several times:
- at secession of the Southern States (sine die), the Constitutional government was left without a quorum.
- with the unratified 14th Amendment
- with the invocation of Special Emergency Powers in 1933--never terminated!
- via the 1913 so called Federal Reserve, fiat money, fractional reserve banking and debt based money,
- the elimination of State's Rights with the 17th Amendment, and a chain of more modern acts.
- "Stare decisis" which tends to make bad legal decisions permanent.
- Remember, our Supreme Court decided the wrong way in the Dred Scott Case.
- NAFTA is government sponsored destruction of our economy.
In a few words
I like details, and I think they matter. But sometimes we just need to get the big picture quickly.
If they get you to ask the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about the answers. -- Thomas Pynchon
How powerful are the right and wrong questions?
Apollo 13 "How do we get our astronauts back alive?" Result: Live astronauts.
Shuttle Columbia "Can we see or fix the damage?" Result: Dead astronauts.
It is important to realize that we could not see or fix the damage in Apollo 13 either, but the question guided the response.
And if you ask about increasing or decreasing the National debt, or balancing the budget, it is the wrong question, and they will be happy to have you spend your time arguing with someone else about it.
The question must be, "how do we change our monetary system from debt based to value based?"
Ask the right questions.
Who is my first choice for congress, August 3rd? David Arnold.

- People are not property. (Slavery) Properties are not people. (Corporatism/Tyranny)
- End the Fed. (Rep. Ron Paul) Money as Debt 2 (Paul Grignon). How about Money as value with no taxes for revenue!
- All legal marriages are already civil marriages:"...by the power vested in me by the State of Missouri, ..." It is an adult risk and responsibility sharing contract enforceable in civil court. It has nothing to do with your religion... a Justice of the Peace does it without any religion.
- Ours is supposed to be a Representative Republic, NOT a democracy! (I pledge allegiance... to the Republic...) When asked Ben Franklin said, "A republic mad'am. Let us see if you can keep it!"
- Abortion? Death Penalty? War? Codex alimentarius? Georgia guidestones? Iatrogenic deaths? Global genocide? Who do we make or let die? How many? Why? Some seriously discuss global population reduction from 6.5 billion by 5 or 6 billions within 50 years. Who? Many from Henry Kissinger to Jacques Cousteau! They argue where to stop... 500 million or 2 billion?
- The 14th Amendment was NOT ratified. Says who? The state legislature of Louisiana! (See below!)
- We've been unconstitutional since the state of emergency started in 1933 that has never ended. You cannot protect anyone's constitutional rights while the constitution is suspended!
- Our Constitutional government was suspended (sine die) when the South seceded, then replaced after the civil war with "a new form of government" (a municipal corporation and subsidiary (corporate) citizens) and new courts. We want the old common law courts back.
- State's Rights died with the popular election of Senators. (The House was for people's rights, the Senate for States rights) (17th Amendment.) There was a real problem, and a very wrong solution.
- National Security State (King George was never at risk!) vs. Each Individual's Security. When every single one of us is safe from our own government, we're all safe in the world.
- Secrecy protects criminals, privacy protects individuals.
- Secure computer voting is impossible for the voter to verify, paper ballot methods the voter can verify.
- They aren't minority rights or women's rights or gay rights. If they are adult rights, they are adult rights.
- The Right to Bear Arms, says federal judge Napolitano, is "so you can shoot at your government."
- What are FEMA camps, jails, casket liners, morgues for? You tell me. Spending waste? Are you expecting something that will need these? Will you tell me?
- Health care, not insurance care. Universal, Not-for-profit, single payer. HR 676 Rep. Dennis Kucinich.
- Disclosure, National Press Club, May 9th, 2001
- False flag operations continue
- Chem Trails are Solar Radiation Management (Science.house.gov)
- Shrink government
- Justice for Reggie
- Fair wages!
- And so much more...

Backbone
It is becoming clear that the reason we have so many unconstitutional things going on is because we have not been operating under the constitution for a very long time. We have had candidates for office who were content to argue over lesser issues and let greater ones remain unmentioned.
Like What?
Corporatism started immediately after the civil war. We got a "new form of government" and shortly a "new judiciary." The previous ones were superior for the common man.
Since 1913 we have been borrowing money that doesn't exist. Then we pay interest on it, and pay it "back" to people who never had it in the first place. Insane. Read US Representative (R, TX) Ron Paul's "END the FED" about the Federal Reserve.
Since 1933 we have been under "Special Emergency Powers" which means not constitutional law. Over 470 Congressional powers are now held by the President. Not a good idea.
Since the Seventeenth Amendment the whole issue of States' rights has been dead. By picking the wrong solution to a real problem, we got swindled out of our State's rights.
The 14th Amendment was never ratified. It couldn't be: 15 of 37 States rejected the Amendment. There was no way to get the 3/4 support required. Section 4 of that Amendment reads in part "debt shall not be questioned." Now there is a bad idea.
We are unconstitutionally at war around the world, spending money in black budgets that are not "a public accounting" as required by our constitution. The security of our people is not at risk if we cut back and disclose. See General S. Butler and his book "War is a Racket."
Our nation was familiar with National Security when that meant King George, and "National Security" didn't need any help. The rights of individuals needed help. Our founders understood that if we protected everyone, even "non-citizens within our borders" we would all be the safest and most secure.
It used to be that when someone like Daniel Webster would stand and observe that a proposed law was unconstitutional, the House of Representatives would drop or change the law. Now it seems to be a game... how crazy can the next law be?!
It seems to me that again we need a public servant who is willing to oppose unconstitutional legislation before it gets to the Supreme Court. We need a representative who will restore our Constitution from the endless "State of Emergency" that makes everything unconstitutional, and who will have the backbone to face, discuss and bring up the real issues that are destroying our economy, our jobs, our property, our security and our futures.
I hope I can earn your vote and support in the Democratic Primary August 3, 2010. Our Representative Republic needs a party better than the Democrats and better than the Republicans. Until we get it, we have to work with the system we've got.
Thank you for your consideration. I'm ready to serve. Are you ready to vote?

August 3, 2010 Democratic Primary for MO Dist 3 (Russ Carnahan incumbent)
This update is being written in July. There are about 30 days left until the primary. What do you know this election that you didn't know last election?
Let's take a short walk through history together and see how it impacts us today, shall we?
Did you know that when the southern states seceded from the Union that was the last of our Constitutionally created government?
It has never been revived.
Instead, after the civil war a municipal corporation was created. Did you know that the "national debt" was not the individual personal responsibility of the citizens of the several States until after the civil war? Did you know that the creation of dual citizenship (of your State, for instance Virginia, Missouri, etc.) and the "UNITED STATES" municipal corporation did not exist before the civil war because our original documents relied on our State citizenship?
Why is the "u" in united States not capitalized in our original documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of independence? "...united States..."
Let's keep walking...
What is the practical impact of the fact that we have been under a continual and unbroken state of emergency since 1933, having suspended our US Constitution? See the November 19, 1973 Report of the Special Committee on the Termination of the National Emergency No. 93-549
We're walking...
What happened in 1913 with the creation of the Federal Reserve from a group of private banks and who were those original private banks? Did they have significant foreign connections? Do they still have more or less foreign ownership than at that time?
What did the Grace Commission say to President Ronald Reagan about where the money from the voluntary tax on wages initiated to assist the war effort for WWII go? "100 percent of what is collected is absorbed solely by interest on the Federal debt and by Federal Government contributions to transfer payments. In other words, all individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services which taxpayers expect from their Government. "
Since the debt is owned by the Federal Reserve member banks, not the US Government, the interest payments go straight to the private member banks. not our government. How does that make you feel? Do you feel ripped off by the Treasury bailing out those banks through the Federal Reserve?
If you aren't outraged, you're not paying attention! (bumper sticker)
Are you wondering why your candidates for Representative haven't been paying attention to this?
Let's keep walking together...
STATEMENT BY ROBERT REICH
JANUARY 9, 1999
The power influence and control of the Federal Reserve Board has evolved to the point that the Congress has become irrelevant. On January 7, 1999, Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor under President Clinton, was quoted in the USA Today as follows:
"The dirty little secret is that both houses of Congress have become irrelevant… in case you hadn't noticed, America's domestic policy is now being run by Alan Greenspan and the Federal Reserve Board...Congress is out of the loop. Every so often, some senators or house members politely ask Greenspan to visit and talk about the economy…Then he goes back down to the Fed and runs the country…America's foreign policy is being run by the IMF (Int'l Monetary Fund…and when the president decides to go to war, he no longer needs a declaration of war from Congress."
So why do I want to run for an irrelevant office? Because it does not have to be irrelevant! With backbone it can be a very relevant office in a relevant body--as your representative in Washington, D.C.
Let's keep walking...
Republican Representative from Texas, Ron Paul, has written "END the FED." Have you read it? Have you seen Paul Grignon's short explanation of Money as Debt vs. Money as Value? See it
Let's keep walking...
So, if the UNTIED STATES went bankrupt in 1933 and gold was illegally and unconstitutionally taken away from the sovereign people of the untied States, and given to the Federal Reserve, and we are still in receivership, who owns us?
By the way, the fourteenth amendment was never legally ratified by the required 3/4 majority because 15 of 37 States REJECTED the amendment, making passage impossible. Who says? I'm glad you asked! How about a serving Member of the House of Representatives Mr. Rarick. See his Congressional Report at this link, This was exposed June 13, 1967 House Resolution H7161.
Well. We aren't done, but let's stop walking for a minute, and consider what we can do.
When I lived in the city of Rock Hill in St. Louis County, I opposed corrupt government and won. It actually took years to win. I went to public meetings. I had private meetings. I spoke with the prosecutor of Rock Hill, St. Louis County, and the Attorney General's Office of the State of Missouri. Eventually we, 540 petition signers and a dozen volunteers of various sorts, got a State Audit started which documented many irregularities and some crimes. After the Audit Report, which took about 9 months, the former Mayor was charged with a crime, tried and convicted, and ordered to pay back Rock Hill $34,000 in restitution for some money he should not have received.
I did that in my spare time. Hire me as you representative full time and see what I can clean up! I'm ready.

David Arnold for Congress is the campaign for championing key principles in the exercise of government--especially fidelity to the US Constitution--a banner behind which people with different perspectives can work together for the benefit of our Republic--for all of us.
"Whether it's fighting illegal wars or financing them with fiat money, lack of respect for the Constitution and congressional apathy for its responsibility got us into the crises in which we find ourselves." -- Ron Paul (R, TX) from "End the Fed" (2009), page 196.
